Acting Isn’t Paying the Bills. Finally Had to Find a Side Gig

After 14 months, my savings finally ran out and I had to find a side gig. I’m bartending at Hotto Hotto in Grant Park.

My first year of acting with savings afforded me the ability to completely focus on acting and take any project that I booked; unpaid, out of state. It allowed me to build my resume and reel without missing work or worry about financing.

Now that I have a job, it allows me to focus on projects that only pay really well or will help my career. I have to be more picky about what roles I take.

If you love ramen and are looking for a place to try, come by and check out Hotto Hotto. Sit at the bar and we can talk acting. If you want to make sure I’m working, DM me for my schedule.
