I reached a big milestone this past Saturday night by completing my 100th acting audition since I started pursuing acting in January of this year. These auditions came from various sources including Backstage, Actor’s Access, Casting Networks, my agent, my manager, Facebook groups, Instagram, and personal connections.
Out of these 100 auditions:
- I was offered 41 roles
- 12 roles were offered without an audition, just based on my reel/headshots or previous connections
- I turned down 11 roles due to scheduling conflicts, lack of pay, or poor scripts
- 4 projects fell through completely
The rest resulted in booked roles that I’ve either filmed already or have coming up soon. It’s been an exciting first year pursuing acting and I’m hoping the next 100 auditions go just as well!
