One Class I Recommend to All Actors

I recommend that all actors and aspiring actors take acting classes. I actually wrote a post about it here. I also wrote a post this last weekend on how to choose acting classes. One class that I recommend over all others is a self-tape audition class. It’s considerably cheaper than most acting classes and it’s perfect for actors who are having trouble booking roles.

I took an online self-tape audition class by Kenzo Lee called The Actor’s Therapy. Kenzo is an L.A. based actor who books a lot. He’s got almost 60 acting credits on IMDB (speaking roles) and books commercials regularly. It’s a 5 week, 3-hour class that is from 9pm to midnight EST and is strictly focused on self tape auditioning. If you’re auditioning regularly, but not booking, I suggest you take a look at it. It’s also affordable, costing about half the cost of an in person class.

I’ve seen other auditioning courses, promising that you will book more, but I’ve done research on those instructors and they have very few credits to their name. My thought is, if you’re not booking yourself, how can you teach others to book.

Check out Kenzo’s Facebook Page or email him at actorstherapy@gmail.com to find out when his next class is. You can tell him I sent you.
