Had to turn down a role of the leader of a military team in a short film. Conflicting dates.
Booked a role in a series as the leader of the Chinese Triad Syndicate.
This was way from left field. A guy messaged me on Instagram to ask how he could watch Bounty in Chinatown. He then said he had written me into a series he was making. Sent me links to his website and Instagram. I asked how he found me and he responded that he google Asian actors non union, found the Facebook Asian actors group I’m a part of. Then made a list of potential actors to play the role of head of the Triad. Then whittled his list down to 20, then 10 and then 5. Then the production team decided on the final person.
Booked the role of chief pharmacist at a pharmaceutical firm. Short film. Supporting. Paid. He found me on Backstage and asked me to audition.
Booked a second music video.
Auditions
It’s for a proof of concept for a pilot of a limited series. I never applied for this but they found me on IMDb and sent me and my agent an email to ask if I was available and interested in auditioning. It’s for an AFI project.
